Ladyewell
Today we visited Ladyewell as part of October and the month of the Rosary. We found out about Ladyewell Shrine and why it is a special and holy place.
The children enjoyed exploring the grounds, looking at the different statues and petitions people had left there and they especially enjoyed looking at the well and how the holy water can be used to make the sign of the cross.
Once we had explored, we chose our favourite statue to draw and write about how it made us feel.
A wonderful way to go into October.
