Family Support Worker

Hello, my name is Mrs Clayton and I am the Family Support Worker at school. My Family Support working day is Wednesday 8am-3.30pm, however I am also in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays. I do have an open door policy, although it is better to make an appointment to be sure that I am available.

My role as a Family Support Worker involves many aspects including:
- To support parents/pupil with any educational, behavioural, well- being or other concerns that they may have
- To support parents with benefit, debt or housing issues
- To support families where a child has attendance and punctuality issues
- To refer families on to other people/agencies who can help them e.g. The Key Family Support, Barnados etc.
However I am here if you just need to talk or off load. Please be assured that all support and advice is confidential.
