What a fabulous day we have had at Brockholes today.  Despite the changeable weather, the children thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different habitats,, including the lake, meadow, woodland and river.  We had fun trying to find the characters from The Wind in the Willows.  We practised our map skills, that we had learnt earlier in the year, to find the Deep Dark Wood.  It was great to see lots of children using their compass correctly.  We created our own maps of the wood using natural materials. As always, our lunch and the play area were highlights of the day.

All the staff at Brockholes commented on what wonderful, well behaved children we had!  A pleasure Beech Class.
