As February is online safety month, we began the week with an assembly. This year the focus was on how to protect ourselves from being the victim of a scam. In class, we completed lots of activities and discussed ways to celebrate social media but addressed ways in which we can protect ourselves from a scam.
We have also painted positivity pebbles as part of children’s mental health week. We shared books about our emotions and thought of different ways that we can improve our well-being. The children devised a list: exercise often, yoga, breathing, mindful colouring and most importantly being able to talk about your feelings helps improve our mental health.
