This week in Willow class the children have had the opportunity to share and preform their favourite nursery rhymes. They have found rhyming words, and enjoyed making rhyming strings and playing playing silly soup. The children produced their own nursery rhymes based on Marry, Mary quite contrary. They choice their own characters and considered their traits. The children then considered what might grow in their gardens and decided on some wonderful ideas. We had mooing cows, dotty dogs and mad white cats, the children really explored their imaginations for their gardens. Finally we decided to share our poems with the children in Little Saplings. They were a great audience, listening well and complimenting the children.
