Despite the rainy weather, Year 3 had lots of fun at Forest School this week! The children embraced the rain and enjoyed splashing and jumping in puddles, making the most of being outdoors.
We played an exciting Rock, Paper, Scissors hoop game, which encouraged teamwork, quick thinking, and plenty of laughter. The children also took part in Millipede Dash, where they worked together to move as one team, showing great cooperation and determination.
The children used natural materials to create mini bug hotels. They carefully collected sticks, leaves, bark, and other woodland treasures to build cosy homes for insects and other tiny creatures. This helped develop their understanding of habitats and the importance of caring for wildlife.
It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the outdoors, supporting one another, and having fun, even in the rain. Well done, Year 3, for your enthusiasm, resilience, and fantastic teamwork!
