This week in Saplings, we have been thinking about how much we have changed from being babies to becoming the wonderful 3 and 4-year-olds we are today. We talked about the skills we have learned as we have grown, including walking, talking, making friends and becoming more independent.

One of our favourite activities was trying to guess who was who from the baby photographs that our families kindly sent in. The children loved comparing the photographs and seeing how everyone has changed over the years!

We have also been thinking about how we will continue to grow in the future. The children shared their ideas about what they might look like when they are older, the jobs they would like to do and some of the exciting things they hope to achieve.

As part of our learning, we have noticed that autumn is definitely beginning to creep in. We have been observing the seasonal changes around us, including cooler temperatures, changing colours in the leaves and wetter weather. With the weather being so unpredictable at the moment, please ensure your child brings a suitable coat or jacket every day so that we can continue to enjoy outdoor learning whatever the weather.

It has been a wonderful week of reflecting on how far we have come and looking forward to all the exciting changes still to come! 🍂👶
