This week has involved two mile stones for Cherry Class. On Tuesday afternoon, Year 5’s moved up to Year 6, as part of their transition into their final year at primary school. Although it initially felt daunting, I know they enjoyed their experience with Mr Parkinson and Mrs Walsh, and our keen to start their final chapter her at St Clare’s. Mr P had brilliant feedback about the children and I know they will continue to impress him next year.

On Friday, we visited Corpus Christi for a taster day. High school seems far away at the moment, but it is fast approaching for Cherry Class. It was a great day and the children managed to get a feel for what life at a high school entails, as well as the chance to sample some new subjects and navigate themselves around a much bigger school.
