As part of the centenary celebrations of Lancaster Diocese,which we are part of as a school community;we received one of three ‘ Our Lady of Lourdes (Diocesan Patron Saint)statues. On Wednesday, we began with a whole school Celebration of the Word, led by Elder Class. We returned to class and talked about the beautiful statue and discussed why Our Lady had roses on her feet and wrote a prayer thanking Mary, the Mother of our Church.
