This week at Forest School, Year 3 focused on teamwork, communication, and creativity. The children worked together in groups to complete the challenge of making the longest line possible using only themselves and their jackets. They showed fantastic problem-solving skills, discussing ideas, cooperating with one another, and encouraging their teammates to achieve the best result.
We also linked our learning to our current Art topic by creating 3D natural structures using materials found in the forest area. The children carefully selected sticks, leaves, bark, and other natural resources to design and build their creations. They demonstrated great imagination and thought about shape, balance, and structure as they worked.
It was wonderful to see the children collaborating so well, sharing ideas, and persevering when challenges arose. Everyone had a fantastic time learning outdoors while developing their teamwork and creative skills.
