This week at Forest School, we continued to develop our teamwork skills through a range of exciting team challenges. Our main game involved transporting a ball from one cone to a bucket using drainpipes. The children had to work together carefully, communicating and coordinating their movements to keep the ball rolling in the right direction. There was lots of problem-solving and encouragement as teams adjusted their strategies to achieve success.
We also took on the challenge of building the tallest stick tower possible. The children showed great creativity and determination as they experimented with different designs and learned from any towers that toppled over. It was wonderful to see them persevere and keep trying new ideas.
This week's activities were a little more challenging because the teams were larger, meaning everyone had to work even harder to listen, cooperate and share responsibilities. Despite this, the children rose to the challenge and did an excellent job of working together. They demonstrated resilience, communication and teamwork throughout the session, and should be very proud of their efforts. We are looking forward to seeing these skills continue to grow over the coming weeks.
