This week, Year 3 enjoyed their first Forest School session of the new school year. It was wonderful to be back in our outdoor learning environment after the summer break!
As it had been some time since our last visit, we began by revisiting the important Forest School rules. The children discussed how to stay safe, look after each other, and care for the natural environment. They did a fantastic job remembering many of the rules from last year and showed a great understanding of how to use the forest space responsibly.
After our recap, the children took part in a range of fun team-building games. These activities encouraged them to work together, communicate effectively, and support one another. There was lots of laughter as the children got to know their classmates better and built confidence in working as a team.
It was a fantastic start to our Forest School journey this year. We are looking forward to many more exciting outdoor learning experiences in the weeks ahead!
