Over the spring term, Year 5 have been very busy learning to play the keyboards with Mrs Calman. The children have learned lots of new musical skills linked to our curriculum, including how to read notes, keep a steady rhythm and play together as a group. They even learned two brand new songs from scratch, which was a fantastic achievement!
On Tuesday this week, we had the exciting chance to perform these songs in a musical concert for our family and friends. The children showcased their hard work, confidence and musical talent, and they did themselves proud. We even had some solo performances from members of our class too! I am incredibly proud of their effort, dedication and positive attitude throughout the term. Well done, Year 5 – you were amazing!
