Let’s Go Sing – Blackburn Ice Arena (19th March)

What an incredible experience we had at this year’s Let’s Go Sing event at Blackburn Ice Arena!

After months of practising songs and learning actions, the children were more than ready for their big moment. We set off from school at 12:45pm, full of excitement, and arrived at the arena at 1:15pm. From the moment we walked in, there was a real buzz in the air.

The afternoon was packed with rehearsals, as the children worked hard to refine their singing and actions alongside the fantastic song leaders, Rose, Rachael and Dan. Their energy and enthusiasm really brought the performance to life. Between rehearsals, the children enjoyed a few games, keeping spirits high and energy levels up.

After a well-earned packed tea, it was time for one final practice before the audience began to arrive. You could feel the anticipation building as parents and families took their seats, ready to watch the show.

When the performance began, the children were absolutely brilliant. They sang with confidence, enthusiasm and joy, showcasing all the hard work they had put in over the past six months. It was a pleasure to see them performing together as part of such a large-scale event... and Mr Cummings, who even joined in with the teacher song.

The whole event was a fantastic celebration of music, teamwork and confidence. It was clear how much the children had grown as performers, and they should all feel incredibly proud of themselves.

A huge thank you to all the children for their effort and enthusiasm, to the staff for their support, and to all the parents who came along to cheer and support. It truly was a memorable evening for everyone involved.
