What a wonderful week we have had exploring the warmer climates of Africa and Australia and the animals they have. We learnt what it is like to be a safari ranger and what the job entails. We heard about endangered animals and thought how maybe we could help them. We loved hearing about the cheeky animals in 'Handa's Surprise' pinched the fruit from her basket, luckily her friend liked tangerines best so all was good. We have tasted lots of fruit this week with watermelon and bananas being our favourites. We have been practising our mark making when representing the number of animals we have seen in the wild and riding our bikes to get to the best spots to see them. We looked at the larger animals in Africa and some smaller ones from Australia. I think we are all relieved we don't have those spiders here!
