We are bursting with pride to share the fantastic news that our Year 5 New Age Kurling team achieved an incredible 2nd place finish in yesterday‘s competition, where they competed against 20 other schools. This is an outstanding achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of their performance, both on and off the court.

The team showcased exceptional skill, determination, and focus in every round of the competition. From their precise shots to their thoughtful strategies, they proved that teamwork and perseverance truly pay off. Their journey to the final was nothing short of inspiring, with each member giving their absolute best and supporting one another every step of the way.

Not only did they shine in their gameplay, but their behaviour and attitude throughout the day were exemplary. They demonstrated true sportsmanship, cheering on other teams and handling both victories and near misses with grace and respect. They were outstanding ambassadors for our school, and we couldn’t have asked for better representatives.

To finish 2nd out of 20 schools is an amazing accomplishment, and it’s a testament to their hard work and commitment to learning and improving in this unique sport. Each member of the team should feel incredibly proud of themselves.

A huge thank you to the staff who helped prepare the team for this event. Together, we’ve created a moment to celebrate and remember!

Well done, Year 5, you’ve shown us what it means to aim high, work hard, and support one another. Here’s to celebrating this success and looking forward to even more in the future!

Many thanks,

Mr Cummings
