This week in English we have continued to read our class story, ‘The Pirates Next Door.’ We enjoyed sequencing the story and writing our own sentences to go with the pictures. We have also learned about contractions. We know that a contraction is 2 words joined together and shortened with an apostrophe. We enjoyed matching the pairs of words with the correct contraction.
In PE, we have been using tactics to score points through different games. We have practised our underarm throwing and catching skills.
A reminder about homework:
English homework will be sent home on a Wednesday, usually on sheets.
Maths homework is sent on a Friday and may be on a sheet like English or in our numeracy challenge scrap books. If it is in the scrapbook, this needs to be returned on a Monday. Please complete the scrapbook challenges with your child and write on the sheet or the next clean page. It would be really helpful to us if you write a quick comment in the box. Many thanks.
