As this week’s meet the teacher meeting has been postponed I will outline the details on this page and discuss them in further detail at the next meeting.
Water Fun
- As a result of recent studies about the level of fitness and the lack of water safety for young children we aim to tackle these problems with our water fun sessions.
- Every Mon we will take a small group of children to The Triangle Pool for 1 hour water fun sessions with a qualified instructor. There will be two adults supporting children in the shallow end of the pool. The sessions are aimed to improve fitness, help children become more confident in the water and aware of the need for safety around water.
- The children will be transported by school minibus.
- There is no charge for the sessions as school is subsidising the activity.
- The sessions will start the week of the 13th of January.
- A letter will be sent home providing more details. When it is your child’s turn to attend the sessions you will receive the letter and will be asked to send in costumes and a towel.
