This week in DT, Willow Class have been busy making their own scones as part of our 'Cooking across the UK' topic.

Before baking, we chose which fruit to add to our scones, selecting either sultanas, cherries, or just leaving it plain. We talked about the taste, texture, and look of our designs and shared what our favourite part was and why. 

Working in small groups, we helped to measure, mix, and prepare our scones, showing excellent listening skills and teamwork. We loved making our scones and are all very proud of our work! Not only did we create something tasty, but we have also developed important life skills linked to safety, hygiene, and independence.
