It has been great to see the children back in school after half term – well rested after our week away on residential. I hope you have had time to share stories from Borwick Hall and hear about how each and every child pushed themselves out of their comfort zones. We were so impressed with all the children and what they achieved as well as how they supported others. We are on with organising the group photos from the week and will update you with how you can access them soon. Below are a few pictures from different points throughout the week.
This week we took part in a workshop ran by the Anne Frank Trust, all about gender equality. It was great for the children to challenge gender stereotypes and think about how we treat all with kindness and respect.

We have started our new genre of writing and are exploring a range of poems in preparation for writing our own. In RE we are thinking about God and how we know that he exists – as always it is so humbling to hear the children debate and discuss in such a mature and confident manner.
I hope you have a good weekend with your families and I will see you on Monday morning.
